Everything in Annabel’s life was perfect. She was a part-time model, came from a good family, and was one of the most popular girls in school. One fateful summer night brought all that crashing down. Now school is starting and Annabel is dreading her future life as an outsider. Enter Owen, the biggest outsider in school. Becoming friends with him was the last thing that Annabel expected. However, through his friendship and eclectic music tastes, Annabel faces the problems within her family and social networks and learns to trust herself.
This was the first book I read by Sarah Dessen, and I was instantly hooked. Fans of her books will find this equally enjoyable.
