In this book a girl named Juliana moves from sunny California to the gloomy town of Blackthorn, England. She’s upset about leaving her father and friends, and not knowing anyone in Blackthorn except her mother and siblings. Her mother’s friend Liza is murdered shortly after they arrive and Juliana is determined to find the killer. But will the killer find her first?

I was so pleased to read Elizabeth’s review of Blackthorn Winter, and I’m always delighted to find new fans. Your website looks wonderful, and I’m sure is a huge incentive for kids to spend part of their summer–and their lives!–wrapped up in a good book. Great job!
