Nearly everyone who lived on the Eastern side of America was blessed with a blanket of snow this past weekend. Unfortunately, many trips were delayed for some and plans were canceled. Instead of going to church and watching The Voyage of the Dawn Treader, my cousins and I played in the snow! The thick covering of snow made our house and backyard look a lot like a scene from the first installment of The Chronicles of Narnia series.
Fortunately, my family and I were only housebound for a day. On Monday, we went out and watched the real movie!
I loved it! There really wasn’t a dull moment in this film. As for the cons of this movie, my older brother and cousin, who are both huge fans, commented that the 3D wasn’t necessary to enjoy the special effects. They also didn’t like the fact that Ben Barnes had ditched his Spanish accent for Caspian. All in all, they both enjoyed it very much. For those of you who didn’t see this movie yet, go see it if you’re a big fan of the Narnia series.
