Everyone in town had believed Estrella’s mother was also a grand healer. Abra was believed to cure almost anything known to man. Read the rest of this entry »

The Lake Houselakehouse by James Patterson

The Lake House was a great book. It was so suspenseful I couldn’t put it down. James Patterson is one of my favorite authors because he writes short chapters which means that it is never hard to put the book down, if you must. He also writes with very powerful dialog. There was never a boring part in the book it was all action. There is so much detail in the book you can almost see it happening. The Lake House is the sequel of When in Wind Blows. It is about a journey Read the rest of this entry »

Book Review: Escaping the Giant Wave

June 15, 2009

Do you like murder mystery and investigation books? If you do, you should try Peg Kehret books. Escaping the Giant Wave is one of the best books I’ve read from her. This book is about a boy name Kyle and his family goes on a trip on the coast. When his parents are on a cruise Kyle had to baby sit his little sister. While they were eating an earthquake came. When Kyle opened the door to the hallway and a whole lot of smoke comes in. He knew there was a fire in the hotel, so he got two rags one for him and one for his sister and they put the rags over their mouths. Will Kyle and his little sister be able to survive the fire? But wait there’s more, something terrible happens. It’s so terrible that it’s a matter of life and death. But you have to read the book to find out.

Trailer Review: New Moon

June 15, 2009

I loved the trailer, it was definitly not a let down. Kristen Stewart plays a good Bella, I like the clips in the forest were Bella is laying on the forest floor. I have heard from a few people that this chapter in the book New Moon is their favorite and I think that the actors are going to make a good movie based on what I have seen. If you have not seen the New Moon trailer yet, you really should.  If you are a true Twilight fan, it will make you smile.
