News for Dogs by Lois Duncan
Another fantastic book by Lois Duncan! I’m not a big reader but I became a bookworm when I got this book from the Library! “News for Dogs” is about this teenager, Bruce, also from Lois Duncan’s “Hotel for Dogs”, and his little sister, Andi, trying to raise money with a doggy paper. Bruce and Andi get a couple of friends together and create a newspaper for dogs called “The Bow Wow News”. Read the rest of this entry »

Incantation
by Alice Hoffman
The main character in this book is Estrella deMadrigal. Estrella had a quite abnormal family in comparison to most teenage girls in Spain during the early 1300’s. Her mom, Abra, was the most beautiful person Estrella had ever seen. Abra used to make remarkable yarn in shades of blue never imagined. Everyone in town had believed Estrella’s mother was also a grand healer. Abra was believed to cure almost anything known to man. Read the rest of this entry »

Love, Stargirl by Jerry Spinelli is one of the most inspirational book I ever read. Stargirl has just moved from Arizona to Pennsylvania from her love, Leo. She cried over him everyday, leading on to days of 1 out of 20 pebbles in her happy wagon. One day as she was meditating outside, she meets a little girl named Dootsie. Suddenly, she finds herself in a world Read the rest of this entry »

Do you like murder mystery and investigation books? If you do, you should try Peg Kehret books. Escaping the Giant Wave is one of the best books I’ve read from her. This book is about a boy name Kyle and his family goes on a trip on the coast. When his parents are on a cruise Kyle had to baby sit his little sister. While they were eating an earthquake came. When Kyle opened the door to the hallway and a whole lot of smoke comes in. He knew there was a fire in the hotel, so he got two rags one for him and one for his sister and they put the rags over their mouths. Will Kyle and his little sister be able to survive the fire? But wait there’s more, something terrible happens. It’s so terrible that it’s a matter of life and death. But you have to read the book to find out.

I loved the trailer, it was definitly not a let down. Kristen Stewart plays a good Bella, I like the clips in the forest were Bella is laying on the forest floor. I have heard from a few people that this chapter in the book New Moon is their favorite and I think that the actors are going to make a good movie based on what I have seen. If you have not seen the New Moon trailer yet, you really should. If you are a true Twilight fan, it will make you smile.
