Book of the Day: Kiki Strike by Kirsten Miller

This book is like a gothic Nancy Drew or edgy Trixie Belden …

Meet the Irregulars, a group of reject girl scouts who are much more powerful and clever than most people give young girls credit for. If you love a good mystery or have ever felt like an outsider than you must read this book. The best part is that it’s part story, part manual and gives instructions on how to wear a disguise or follow someone without them knowing.

Kiki Strike is a nominee for the Teens Top 10 List. To request it from the library, click here. If it’s your favorite, don’t forget to place your vote during Teen Read Week, October 14-20, 2007.
