Jena, the second-oldest of 5 Transylvanian sisters, tells the sisters’ story of adventure and mystery at their castle home and in the Other Kingdom, their enchanted secret world. When the girls were young, they discovered a mysterious portal in the castle that appears every full moon and allows them access to the Dancing Glade in the Other Kingdom. Over the last nine years of full moon visits, they have become an accustomed sight at the dances, dressed in their finest gowns and dancing with friendly creatures of all shapes and sizes. They are welcome and comfortable here; it is their home away from home.
Things get turned upside down when their ill father travels to warmer climates, leaving Jena in charge of the estate and the family business. Their power-hungry cousin tries to take control of all that the sisters treasure, including their oldest and deepest secret. To make matters worse, sister Tatiana has fallen in love with one of the Night people, who are mysterious and feared in the Other Kingdom. Jena must try to make everything right, but can she take care of two worlds all by herself?
