West Regional Reads: A Friend at Midnight

A Friend at Midnightfriendatmidnight by: Caroline B. Cooney is a very interesting book that includes the values of trust, love, and faith. When Lily’s little 8 year old brother Michael is dropped off in an airport by his divorced father, who he still loves even though he isn’t loved back, he decides to tell only Lily so he can keep his father’s name clean. It is very hard for Lily to keep this secret because she would much rather let her father get what he deserves for treating Michael like that. Lily now has to put her whole trust in God no matter how it may be. Find out what happens to Lily, Michael, and their father in this incredibly addicting book.
