Wizard Rock Concerts in Wake County, 2010

Two Wake County libraries are hosting Wrock (Wizard Rock) concerts this summer.  Both concerts will host nationally famous Wrock bands.  We hope you can attend both.  If you’ve never heard of Wizard Rock, you may be surprised to know that it is bands which write music based on the Harry Potter books.  Most of the musicians are in college or older.  The concerts are attended by fans of all ages.  So get your wands ready to wrock out.

On Tuesday, July 13th, The Remus Lupins and Skyway Flyer will be wrocking out the Cameron Village Library at 6:3o p.m.

On Tuesday, July 20th, the Eva Perry Library will host The Whomping Willow, The Moaning Myrtles, the Parselmouths in their first ever North Carolina appearance, Justin Finch-Fletchley, The Blibbering Humdingers, ALL CAPS, and more!  The event starts at 5:30 p.m.  If you want to know what it might be like, check out this video:

Both concerts are free of charge.  You can dress up at these concerts or come just as you are.  All ages are welcome.  The bands will sell merchandise, such as CDs and t-shirts.
