The Girl Who Could Fly by Victoria Forester

According to Twilight’s author Stephenie Meyer, this book is a cross from Little House on the Prairie and X-Men. Piper McCloud is a girl who has the ability to fly and she’s sent to a government base where she can be supposedly trained to use her powers for good. However that’s a cover-up to get them to forget how to use their powers and become like normal human beings. Piper is a young heroine who meets other kids who are different like her and she begins to feel like she finally belongs.
