Book Review: Natural Beauty at Home

This book is an excellent tool for looking up recipes for natural oils, creams, facial masks, etc. It is thorough, and the recipes are easy to follow. A complete list of equipment and ingredients are located in the beginning of the book, including what the ingredients are, what they do, and where to find them.

You don’t have to only make these treatments for yourself, you can make them as presents (Christmas is coming up!) for other people. There are recipes for men as well, including aftershave. And the best part is, they’re 100% natural, and they cost less than the expensive lotions/creams that you buy at the store.

There is also advice located in the book, like on how to give yourself a facial, proper nail care, and much more.

Including recipes like Fizzing Bath Bombs, which you can make in a jiffy, and Papaya Cream, this book is an essential in your bookshelf — but you can check it out at your nearest Wake County Public Library here first, or you can click on the picture above 🙂 The book also makes a nice Christmas gift — I gave it to my mother last Christmas and she loved it. Everybody needs to be pampered every once in a while, and this is an easy way to do it at home and not at one of those expensive spa places.
