The teens of Eva Perry Library walked the runway at the first teen anime fashion show/costume extravaganza. Some dressed up as characters they had created themselves for original fiction works. The audience was clearly impressed. Here is a video of the results:
Valerie Nicholson, Library Assistant at Eva Perry, explained that this event was created in hopes of getting our teens excited about attending Animazement, a local anime con that takes place every year on Memorial Day weekend at the Raleigh Convention Center.
Clearly, there is talent here, and we encourage all of our teens to be creative and live out the books they love the best.
