Teens’ Top Ten 2011: The Iron King by Julie Kagawa

The Iron King, by Julie Kagawa, is one of the 2011 Teens’ Top Ten nominations for 2011.

When Meghan Chase’s friend, Robbie, calls her Princess, he’s not kidding. It turns out that Meghan is the daughter of the faery king Oberon and the unwitting pawn in a battle between the Seelie and Unseelie Courts. Suddenly, Meghan’s life teeters between dream and nightmare: Robbie is not who he seems, the Queen of the Seelie Court is less than pleased to discover her existence, her little brother has been replaced by a hideous changeling, and Meghan is running for her life. She longs to be defended by the gorgeous Ash, prince of the Unseelie Court, but unfortunately, he’s the one who’s been commissioned to kill her.

If you like your fae not-too-sweet and have a weakness for the bad boy, you’ll devour the whole series.
