End of Summer Nail Design

Although we are all dreading it, the end of summer is nearing. To try and add a little bit more color into the dreariness that can be associated with going back to school, try this ocean-inspired nail design to brighten up your day!

1) First, paint on a base coat of your choice.
2) Next, paint the top half of your nail (the half that is closest to your knuckles) with a bright green polish.

3) Use a bright blue nail polish to paint the other half of the nail.

4) This is where the design really comes together. Take a clear nail polish and wipe off the excess from the brush. When you have a little bit of clear nail polish left on the brush, run the brush over the middle of each nail. This will blend the blue and green colors together, giving your nails the unique ocean-themed hue. Make sure to use the clear nail polish very lightly here; you don’t want to smudge the colors too much.

5) Wait for your artistic creations to dry, and then top them off with a clear top coat. I used Seche Vite Fast-Dry Top Coat, which dries the polish completely within two minutes and helps the polish last for up to three weeks.
I hope this tutorial was helpful! Feel free to ask any questions if you have them!
